Born in 1980, The Mollusc Dimension (he/him) is a transqueerian, non-binary, British-born Chinese, Generation X, multi-hyphenate performer and (dis)content maker of ideas and stories in many forms.
His colourful comic book memoir "The Weird & Wonderful Surviveries of Squid Horse" (2024) was shortlisted for the Selfies Book Award for non-fiction in 2025. He has been the recipient of 2 project grants from Arts Council England.
In 2022, he created and directed "Asians Have Feelings Too", a transformative, #StopAsianHate and LGBTIQA+ powered music video and debut solo show at The Rich Mix, London. Simultaneously, he released his tragi-vibrant debut poetry collection, "I just want you to know I exist".
A barrel of squids, he proliferates surviveries and creates moods - from the epic, dark and dreamy to provocative, playful and/or absurd.
