James Andrews is a freelance filmmaker based in Seattle, WA. "The Journal" is his first narrative short film.
James primarily produces films and videos for commercial, nonprofit, and government organizations. He has produced and directed the documentary films "Polar Guardians" for the U.S. Coast Guard, and "Feathers and Frontiers” for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, as well as numerous short-form videos for the National Park Service. In 2023, his short documentary "Moon Landing Memories" was a top 10 finalist for NASA's CineSpace short film contest.
