The purposes of the Taiwan Ecological and Environmental Film Festival are to:
1. Raise public awareness of ecological and environmental issues in Taiwan;
2. Foster the ecological and environmental documentary industry in Taiwan; and
3. Showcase the achievements of ecological and environmental documentary filmmakers.

After successfully hosting two festivals with strong support from various sectors, we recognize the importance of broadening our international perspective. Therefore, the 3rd TEEFF introduces an "Indo-Pacific Vision" section, designed to introduce and showcase outstanding ecological and environmental documentaries from the Indo-Pacific region.
