WE ONLY ACCEPT HUMOR/COMEDY SHORTFILMS

the taSHORtfest is the first festival of shortfilm humor internationally and pioneer in this genre, held in Catalunya level.

It was born from the idea of rewarding the world shortfilm of humor hand some students TCT (Workshop Cinema of Taxonera) a course that still give the Civic Center Teixonera by JORomero of the producer Ozzypiuntur .

This phrase: "We took another step, our passion for cinema" made this idea and we thought we did finally reality.

All short films submitted, which comply with these rules, will be eligible for one or more of the following awards:

TASHORTFEST Award
- Festival trophy. Our beloved and precious #vacaconbotas.
- Chosen by a professional jury, independent and external to the organization.

AUDIENCE Award
- Chosen by the public attending the viewing of the finalists on July 1st:
- Festival Diploma.

CORTÍSIMO Award
- Chosen for the best humor short film of 1 minute or less.
- Festival diploma.
This category may be deserted of any winner, if the jury deems it appropriate.

Rules & Terms

- The issue of short films will be free of any sub genre, but must prevail humor / comedy (character of this festival), and any technique performed (real image, animation, computer graphics ...).
- The length of the shortsfilms HUMOR/COMEDY may not exceed 20 minutes .
- Shortfilm HUMOR/COMEDY must have been finished completely after January 1, 2019
- Shortfilm HUMOR/COMEDY may not be submitted to any short quiz presented in the previous editions.
- MANDATORY: The shortfilms HUMOR/COMEDY must be filmed in Spanish or Catalan, or in default subtitled in one of these two languages.

    This is a wonderful festival with the fantastic focus on comedy film. It's run by a fun, sympathetic, super passionate team and is unique in its kind. In 2020 my film 'Ringo Rocket Star' won the festival price and this year 'Covid Love' won the best photography. I received a beautiful handmade award by them. So yes, absolute worth to entry and to support! Till next and thanks for all!
