taSHORTfest 2026 - 10th Edition

WE ONLY ACCEPT HUMOR/COMEDY SHORTFILMS

All short films submitted, which comply with these rules, will be eligible for one or more of the following awards:

TASHORTFEST Award
300 € + “Vaca Con Botas” Trophy (selected by the festival jury).
The award is subject to the tax withholding required by current Spanish law.
The amount will be paid by bank transfer after applying the corresponding tax deduction.

In addition, the short film that wins the taSHORTfest Award will automatically participate in the special November 2026 session, alongside all previous winners (Jury and Audience Awards), where the “Best Short Film in the History of taSHORTfest” will be chosen, with additional cash prizes.

AUDIENCE Award
— Chosen by the public attending the whatching of the finalists on July 11th:
— Festival Diploma.

CORTÍSIMO Award
— Chosen for the best humour short film of 1 minute or less.
— Festival diploma.
This category may be deserted of any winner, if the jury deems it appropriate.
