An adventurer and filmmaker dedicated to telling stories that bridge different worlds and cultures, creating spaces for deep human connection on and off the screen.
Sivan Harpaz Cohen (34) is a director and filmmaker, and a graduate of Cinema and Education at Beit Berl College. She is currently working on two documentary films: one was shot in Germany and deals with the resistance to the Nazi regime (a project done in collaboration with IFS Cologne, during which she also produced a film for them in Israel), and the second is an independent project she shot herself, documenting the mutual solidarity of Israeli citizens as they lick their wounds following the October 7th massacres.
Sivan is an adventurer and artist at heart who loves to travel the world, scuba dive occasionally, DJ, play a didgeridoo she crafted herself, and create earrings and dried flower arrangements. In her filmmaking, as in her personal life, her big dream for the future is to wander, discover new cultures, and eventually create community spaces that connect all of her passions.
