Shelly Paino is a produced and award-winning screenwriter and script consultant who has been writing for over twenty years, completing 19 original features, 29 short scripts and four pilots. Produced works include a feature film and two award-winning shorts.

She regularly writes on assignment for producers and directors with a feature in post-production with Eric Roberts in a lead role, a series pilot in production and a feature in development.

Her most notable awards include Best Screenplay for Hannah’s Dream at Canadian International Faith and Family Film Festival and at Content Media Conference and Film Festival for 2020 and 2021.

She served as the organizer of the Orange County Screenwriters Group for several years and has worked on both major studio and independent sets as an extra and production assistant. 

In other writing, Shelly writes grant proposals for filmmakers, has a published freelance article, blogs for Hannahratnam.com and compiled and wrote the introduction to historical memoir “On the Horizon: From British Society to the American Frontier” currently for sale on Amazon.
