Severin is a multiple award winning filmmaker, and of his shortfilms has been screened at festivals around the world. His exam film "The chamber" was screened at the 2006 Screamfest in Los Angeles, a festival which he returned to in 2009 with his first feature "Snarveien"(aka Detour). The film has also been released internationally.

His second feature "LUST"(2017) has also been released internationally. USA, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Germany and Portugal.

His last two short films "Allodium" and "Number 7" has been screened at festivals around the world and has gained 85 awards and nominations.

His third feature "Fatum" in currently in production and scheduled to premiere in October 2025
