Sarey Martin Concepción is a filmmaker and producer working across genre, music video, and documentary. A finalist in Disney's Launchpad program and Sundance's Episodic Lab, she spent a decade on the production and management team for Rob Zombie — collaborating with partners including Blumhouse, Anchor Bay, and Dimension — before earning a master's in theology and turning fully toward her own storytelling.
Her shorts include the sci-fi film The Winemaker, winner of Best Short at the Lois Weber Film Festival, and her debut, Father Mary, which earned her Best Oregon Director at the 2022 McMinnville Film Festival. She is currently producing Fortaleza, a feature documentary in post-production with an Oscar-winning sound team attached. Inspired by auteurs like Cronenberg, Lynch, and Jarmusch, she's passionate about elevating female voices in genre filmmaking and fostering mutual support and community on every production.
