Rodney Hill is a native of Texas and Oklahoma. He spent most of his youth in a small town called Wewoka, Oklahoma. He developed a taste for films at a young age. He moved to Texas at the age of 14 and continued to watch movies but increased his taste for all genres. His freshman year at Baylor University he became interested in acting it wasn’t until he took some acting courses at Kilgore Junior College. He continued to study acting at Baylor University and started writing his senior year college. After college he started writing short stories, poems and screen plays. He completed his first script in 2004 called A Killer’s Path. He writing style has been called controlled insanity. Pushing limits with dialogue and plots and with his characters being extreme but still realistic. In 2008 he decided to become a self-taught film maker and started a film company called RK Films. Teaching himself every aspect of film making from producing to editing with the help from friends he has filmed 8 short films with 2 of them making the top 20 in the Louisiana Film Prize.
