A native of New York City, Ms. Pyzel has a degree in filmmaking from NYU-SCE and has worked as a stage manager/sound/lighting tech in various theatrical venues (NY City Center, the Lucille Lortel Theatre, the Kitchen, Dance Theater Workshop...).

She produced, directed and edited, "SHOOTING STARS" a 57 minute documentary about LIVING with AIDS.

Her videos include performances by Grammy Award winning organist Paul Jacobs (OCTAVES, REVERIE) and a profile of jazz legend Junior Mance, which won a Men's Vogue Critic's Choice Award (Junior Mance at Cafe Loup).

The author of several 10 minute plays, Ms. Pyzel is currently working on two full length plays. "Shadow Man" is based on her screenplay.
