Prince Bubacarr Aminata Sankanu, holds among other qualifications, a Master of Letters in Film Studies: Theory and Practice from the University of Stirling in Scotland, UK and Diploma in Digital Film and Animation from the SAE Institute in Cologne, Germany. He is a prominent Gambian journalist and film producer with over 21 years of professional and academic experience. Prince Sankanu is also active on the frontlines of the sensitization process on harmful practices and attitudes that are arresting the development of African communities. He says their "Musuya Kunto" documentary is part of an on-going civic education work they started in 2012 in the rural areas of The Gambia.
