Pedro Gonçalves Ribeiro (Belo Horizonte, 1993) is a Brazilian filmmaker and film programmer at IndieLisboa IFF and Rio de Janeiro IFF. He studied at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in San Sebastián and holds a Master’s degree in Moving Image from the Fine Arts School of Lisbon. His work explores imaginary places tied to urban space, weaving into its narratives legends, tales, dreams, and ghosts of all kinds; and have been screened and awarded at international film festival such as Cinéma du réel, RIDM Montréal, FICCI Cartagena das Índias, Vancouver International Film Festival, Festival dei Popoli, among others.
