PECHKAfest is the first and the one international film festival in Russia with a thematic focus on the countryside and rural lifestyle. The festival takes place in the Russian North, in the village of Shelota in the Verkhovazhsky district of the Vologda region.

The festival includes competitive screenings of feature and documentary films, out-of-competition screenings, creative meetings with filmmakers, as well as master classes in traditional crafts, performances by musical groups and other activities that immerse festival guests in the atmosphere of a northern village.

The audience of the festival is rural tourists and filmmakers from various regions, as well as villagers.
