Patrick West's filmmaking career began when he received his first video camera for Christmas at the age of ten. Since then he has developed his craft weaving through a variety of mediums including stop motion animation, 2D animation, 3D animation and live action.

During his early years as a filmmaker Patrick directed countless short films and hosted several youtube channels. His 2015 film "Mail" was selected to screen at the 2015 Odyssey film festival.

Patrick has a passion for telling a modern day character studies with a unique and escapist twist. Whether it be a man in financial troubles who steals the mail of his wealthy neighbour (Mail, 2015), an anxious man who strategically plans his life (Scripted, 2017), or a lonely man who drives a taxi that travels through time (Time Travel Taxi, 2018). Patrick is always striving to push the boundaries narratively and technically while keeping the characters relevant.
