The Packed House Pictures Screenwriting Competition is a competition like no other. We don’t want to simply give a writer "exposure" to the Hollywood system or a virtual pat the back. We want to make the winning script into a professionally produced, directed, and theatrically released movie.
By focusing our inaugural competition on low-budget, character and concept driven pieces, Packed House has a practical yet exciting plan to take our winner’s script from page to screen, in a competition where the final round will be judged not by an agent, a producer, or even another writer, but by the ticket-buying fans who want to see the finished product brought to life.
