As a kid he took painting classes from a bohemian gypsy family who taught him a lot about the arts. This would later became his fuel and northstar.

Oscar is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mexico City. Graduated in 2010 from Universidad Iberoamericana, majoring in Interactive Design, focused on 3D animation. He later graduated from the Film Direction program of ENAC in 2012.

He has worked for 10+ years as an animation director and creative director for commercials in Mexico and around the world.
His commercial work has been shown at Autodesk DevCon, Hong Kong’s CVision and The Sphere in Las Vegas.

In 2015 he wrote, directed and animated his debut short film Playdead. Screened at film festivals including Morbido, Macabro, Maryland, Girona, CutOut Fest, ASIFA & Athens.

Las Lágrimas de Bael marks his debut as a producer and the first feature from his production company.
In 2022, he co-produced the short film 'A la distancia nos vemos' by Jocelyn López.
