A passionate filmmaker with a strong focus on directing, editing, and human-centered storytelling. My work often draws inspiration from real events and aims to capture raw emotions through a cinematic lens. I strive to tell stories that reflect both the pain and resilience within human experience.
I have written and directed three independent short films — Land of Olives, One Earthquake Is Not Enough, and The Last Anniversary — each produced on a personal budget. I also created an audio film (radio play) that won first place in the TRT Future Communicators Competition.
Recently, I completed my most ambitious project, “Saqfa”, a film inspired by true events from the latest war in Gaza. The film won Best Short Film at the TRT Future Communicators Competition (Geleceğin İletişimcileri) and continues to reach audiences through festivals and screenings.
Through my projects, I aim to reveal the essence of our shared humanity — portraying real events and emotions in a way that encourages empathy, reflection, and dialogue. I believe cinema is not only about what we see, but about what we feel and remember after the screen goes dark.
