Ömer Faruk ÇETİN was born on 01.01.1995 in Tavşanlı district of Kütahya. He completed his high school education at Tavşanlı Anatolian Imam-Hatip High School. During his high school years, he became interested in cinema and started to improve himself in the fields of directing, cinematography and editing. He won the Radio, Television and Cinema department at the university. He continues his life as a 4th grade student at Akdeniz University Faculty of Communication. In 2017, he entered the short film competition organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and won the 2nd prize with the film named “Mansur”. In 2018, he won the 1st prize in the ÖNDER Free Jerusalem Short Film Competition organized in 2018 with the fictional short film “The Flower of Palestine”. He stepped into his first professional film career with the documentary project titled “Muzaffer”.
