If you have a great film, submit to the prestigious New York Film Awards. I had a wonderful experience submitting, finalizing, and winning their elite awards. If you want to enter into the film festival circuit, NYFA is a laurel you want on your film cover. They are great and I am forever grateful for their belief in my film.

  • I've watched some films I really admired do well at the New York Film Awards, but never entered it myself because I didn't have a project I felt was a good fit. Recently, I produced a commercial and was thrilled to see that NYFA had a "Best Commercial" category, which is pretty rare these days. So, I decided to take a chance, especially since my commercial had a strong New York connection. The submission process was easy, communication was first rate, and the fee was fair. Fortunately, the judges smiled upon our commercial. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say. It feels great to be an official alum of the festival now and I look forward to submitting again in the future when I feel I have something worthy.
