Nuno de Sá Pessoa Costa Sequeira was born on May 7, 1987, in the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal.

Growing up between Portugal and Spain, I’ve learned to speak five diverse languages. My educational journey commenced in Lisbon, but soon led me to Denmark, where I completed my studies at the European Film College. Post-graduation, I embarked on a creative voyage, directing my inaugural independent projects, and contributing as a cinematographer and video editor to the production of four full-length feature films in the heart of California.

Subsequently, I co-founded Skookum Films alongside two colleagues. Our collective efforts resulted in a multitude of projects that have garnered recognition at more than 200 venues worldwide, earning accolades on numerous occasions.

My life has taken me on brief sojourns to countries such as Switzerland and Brazil, facilitating collaborations with clients and partners hailing from over 30 nations across the globe.

I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a jury member at diverse film festivals and as a keynote speaker at various international events spanning the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Brazil, Switzerland, Portugal, Denmark, the United States, and the Czech Republic.
