Experiencing Interruptions?

Ni un pas enrere!

Portrait of how people from Catalonia lived the first 6 months after the Referendum (1-O) for independence was held and the consequences of the application of article 155 of the Spanish Constitution by the Spanish state.
On October 1st, 2017, Catalonia held a self-determination referendum, in which more than 2 million people participated and 90% of them voted for the independence of Catalonia.

During that day, the violence of the security forces of the Spanish state caused more than a thousand injured among citizens who always offered peaceful resistance in defense of democracy.

On October 27th, the Parliament of Catalonia voted in favor of proclaiming the Catalan Republic. The same day, though, the Spanish state applied the article 155 of the Spanish Constitution against Catalonia. From then Catalan people mobilized to take actions to defend the results of the Referendum.

“Not a step back” explains all that in a series of music videos, focused on a small Catalan village, Les Borges Blanques.
