NEXT GEN CINEMA is a film festival focused on a new branch of cinematic evolution.

We are living in a moment where storytelling tools are expanding faster than ever. Artificial intelligence, hybrid production models, digital experimentation and traditional filmmaking now exist side by side. NEXT GEN CINEMA brings these worlds together on one screen.

The festival welcomes both AI-driven films and conventionally produced works. What matters is not the tool, but the vision behind it. We look for films that feel contemporary, thoughtful, and aware of the time in which they are made.

Our program highlights emerging directors, independent creators, and filmmakers exploring new narrative structures, visual languages, and production methods. From experimental shorts to bold feature films, the focus remains the same: work that reflects where cinema is heading next.

On May 30, NEXT GEN CINEMA takes place at

205 Placer Ct, North York, ON, M2H 0A9, CA S3PACE Business Event Centre

bringing together filmmakers, producers, technologists, and audiences interested in the future of moving images.

NEXT GEN CINEMA is a meeting point for creators who understand that cinema continues to grow β€” in form, in technology, and in perspective.

A new generation is not defined by age.
It is defined by direction.
