The New York Comedy Film Festival (NYCFF) is where comedy takes center stage. On February 15–22, 2026, NYCFF turns Manhattan into a playground for filmmakers, comedians, and fans who love to laugh. Whether you're into sharp satire, absurd sketch, or heartfelt dramedy, this week-long celebration delivers something for everyone.
Expect an electric lineup of feature films, documentaries, shorts, episodic premieres, and live performances — plus can't-miss panels, parties, and retrospectives that dive deep into the art and impact of comedy.
NYCFF isn’t just a festival — it’s a creative hub where emerging talent and comedy legends come together to connect, collaborate, and celebrate what makes us laugh. Whether you're here to screen a film, meet your comedy heroes, or just soak in the vibes, NYCFF is your front-row seat to the future of funny.
Our mission is to unite people through laughter and showcase the power of comedy to entertain, inspire, and spark conversation.

"New York has needed a festival like this — one that gives comedy the spotlight it deserves. The team behind NYCFF is sharp, seasoned, and driven by a genuine love for making people laugh. NYCFF will not only entertain but do the important work of curating seminal comedy films from the past and those of the future. It’s exciting to see this become a vital part of the city’s film culture.”
— Paul Mecurio, Emmy and Peabody Award winning Comedian/Host/Actor The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, HBO, The Daily Show.

"There has been a noticeable gap in the landscape when it comes to highlighting emerging comedy-forward filmmakers and visionaries. Especially now — when it's harder than ever to break into the entertainment industry — I'm thrilled that a new festival is stepping in to showcase the kinds of artists I champion and advocate for every day."
— Tovah Silbermann, Manager, Mosaic

Wow! We feel so fortunate to have screened our pilot MATCHED at NYCFF and to have won their "Best TV Episodic" Award! From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The festival organizers curated an incredible slate of high quality projects, and clearly focuses on showcasing great films and providing filmmakers with amazing networking opportunities. Because it's located in the heart of NYC, the festival also offered some exceptional panels with impressive industry professionals!

We had a terrific time screening BRETT WAS A F*CK as part of NYCFF -- it was an amazing festival experience. The festival's team curated terrific programming and leveraged the best of the New York comedy scene to offer fantastic panels and events to round out the week. They also went out of their way to take care of and showcase their filmmakers from moment one, and created a wonderful and supportive gathering space for everyone involved. Highly recommend submitting your project next time around!
