The Music City Film Festival is where the magic of music meets film. The Music City Film Festival (MCFF) is an independent international online event based in Nashville, TN. Founded in the belief that truly great films are artistically made to please the audience with 50% high quality sound and 50% eye capturing visuals.

- Animations

Our panel of judges look forward to reviewing many entries across all genres of film and music from around the world.

All films submitted will first be reviewed and nominated by MCFF. These nominations will be collated and the winners of the top tier categories will move on to the next round of consideration for the MCFF Annual Awards. Winners will receive a certificate and Best Over All in Festival will receive the Music City Film Festival Crystal Trophy.

The Music City Film Festival Annual Awards will be packed with Special Presentations, Q&As and informative open live discussions, the best new Music, and, of course our favorite Films!

Each category is open for films that have been submitted to the Music City Film Festival from:
September, 2021 to July, 2022

All the Music City Film Festival Award Winners will be announced online on July 2022

All films submitted will first be reviewed and nominated by MCFF. These nominations will be collated and the winners of the top tier categories will move on to the next round of consideration for the MCFF Annual Awards.

The winning entry in each category will demonstrate the necessary artistic quality, creative contributions and technical skills in line with the category’s requirements.

Additionally each year all the MCFF Annual Award Winners will be announced and receive their awards at a ceremony that will take place at the Music City Film Festival red carpet gala. Winners who can’t show up to the MCFF Annual Awards, may send a representative to receive the award. A list of winners will be published on the Music City Film Festival website.

By submitting a film, participants permit the Music City Film Festival’s use of the video as well as pictures and names attached to the film for advertising and public relations purposes in connection with marketing the Music City Film Festival.

All participants warrant and undertake that they have obtained all relevant rights and written. Permission from individuals and intellectual property featured in the entry.

All participants warrant that their movie or music video does not violate federal law.

By submitting the material, the applicant hereby agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the festival & its employees from any liability, claims, and damages in connection with the submission and from any fees and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees, that any of them may incur in connection therewith.

Incomplete registration that doesn't meet the requirements of these conditions will be automatically disqualified.

I/We understand that failure to adhere to the competition rules and regulations will result in disqualification and forfeiture of entry fee.

I/We agree to hold the Music City Film Festival harmless from and defend them against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgments, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with any and all claims of third parties, whether or not groundless, based on any music video, advertisement, film or media submitted to the Festival.

The Music City Film Festival founders reserve the right to modify these terms.

Not all submissions are guaranteed acceptance. MCFF retains the right to accept or decline any submission.
