Milan Lazistan III is an award winning songwriter/ musician originally from North Plainfield, NJ. Milan has released multiple albums since 2007, with many songs reaching international success through film/TV placements. He has also had an extensive run as a live performer, opening for national acts such as: George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, The Offspring, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley's Wailers, Dirty Heads, Mumford and Sons, Marcy Playground, Alabama Shakes, and more. He also performed select dates on Vans Warped Tour. As a writer, Milan has written music for a collection of commercials, short films, feature lengths, and television series. Including 3 seasons of MAVTV's "Body Shots" where he teamed with music producers Ras MG and Mike "Miguel" Happoldt (Sublime, Long Beach Dub All Stars), and producer/writer Dave Hnatiuk of MTV. Milan has also won multiple awards for his music and writing and has had his films and music videos placed in various film festivals around the world. In 2024, Milan Lazistan reached international success with multiple songs winning competitions in both The London Movie Awards and The Florence Film Awards. And in 2025, Lazistan continued to grow his musical repertoire as he had numerous songs placed in the feature length film “The Last Vendetta” which can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video and various film festivals worldwide.
