Mikael was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.

He graduated from the Directing Department of The Polish National Film School in Lódz, Poland.

Mikael has directed several shorts and 200 commercials worldwide for major international brands.

"Desert Coffee" is his debut medium-length documentary. It premiered at the Krakow Film Festival in both the national and international competition, to critical acclaim.

Mikael divides his time between Stockholm and Warsaw. He is an ardent traveller and photographer.
