Miguel Leonardo nasceu a 10 de dezembro de 1996, em Almada. É escritor, poeta, músico, ator, guionista e realizador.
Aos 16 anos começa o seu primeiro movimento poético com Luís Oliveira e Nuno F. Silva, o movimento Ultra Abjecionista. Entre 2020 e 2021, foi personagem principal nas curtas-metragens «Contra Tempo», «Subsolo» e personagem secundária em «1 de Janeiro». Aos 25 anos, lançou a sua primeira curta-metragem, «O Rapaz Que Pensava Demais», nomeada em alguns festivais de cinema em Portugal e no estrangeiro. No mundo da literatura escreveu «A Voz de Lisboa com Paris» (Gato Bravo, 2023, janeiro) e «Pena Humana» (Poética Grupo Editorial, 2023, dezembro), com ilustrações de Luís Silveirinha. Escreveu para alguns trabalhos, como argumentista e realizador em 2024 realizou o documentário sobre os 50 anos do 25 de Abril "O som da ditadura" e ainda no mesmo ano realizou com Diogo Monteiro "A Morte de Jaime". Espera publicar em breve no seu próximo livro. Achando que em Portugal e no mundo in Jornal Setubalense "As “pessoas não lêem, não gostam de filmes; gostam é de se verem neles, de estarem dentro dos filmes”

Miguel Leonardo was born on December 10, 1996, in Almada.
He is a writer, poet, musician, actor, screenwriter and director.
At 16, he began his first poetic movement with Luís Oliveira and Nuno F. Silva, the Ultra Abjectionist movement. Between 2020 and 2021, he was the main character in the short films «Contra Tempo», and «Subsolo» and a secondary character in «1 de Janeiro». At 25, he released his first short film, «O Rapaz Que Pensava Demais», which was nominated at some film festivals in Portugal and abroad. In the world of literature, he wrote «A Voz de Lisboa com Paris» (Gato Bravo, 2023, January) and «Pena Humana» (Poética Grupo Editorial, 2023, December), with illustrations by Luís Silveirinha. He wrote for some works, as a screenwriter and director, in 2024 he made the documentary about the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April "The Sound of the Dictatorship" and in the same year he directed "A Morte de Jaime" with Diogo Monteiro. He hopes to publish his next book soon.
