Poet/Film director.
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. In 2019, I became the first Japanese poet to win a poetry video competition prize at the Lahti Poetry Marathon in Finland.
In 2022, I won the national championship of Kotoba Slam Japan, the national poetry reading competition of Japan.
In 2023, I represented Japan at the international poetry slam competitions Paris PSW and Rio WPSC, and became the first Japanese person to reach the semi-finals in Rio de Janeiro.
A graduate of University of Tokyo’s program in Japanese literature. Published poetry collections "Waterplay," "The Memory of Water," and "Why not just be happy?", and “Futaba” in November 2024.
