Martini Shot is a filmmaking term for the last shot in a shift, originally from Hollywood. After the Martini shot, the film crew gathers and rests, accompanied by the drink mentioned above.

Martini Shot is an International Film Festival of Form and Genre that will bring together the best works presented in various genres and forms.

MSIFF - Yearly Festival with live-screenings in Saint-Petersburg. 60 works from selected submissions will run in our Yearly Programme in Saint-Petersburg where participants will have a chance to build international working relationships with other creators and compete for annual cash prize.

MSIFF accept films of all genres and lengths
- Completion Date after January 2015
- All Non-English Entries must be subtitled in English
- The submitter cannot withdraw the submission after the official selection
- MSIFF winners that will go into the yearly program must send a copy of the film without
subtitles and .srt file with English subtitles within 2 weeks from official announcement
- Films that doesn't match the category will be disqualified
-MSIFF can change the date and the venue of the Annual Event
- The submitter owns all the rights to the film
- MSIFF can use trailer/teaser/film poster/stills for promotional purposes (but do
not release, under any form or circumstances, the full film)
