Mark Leschinsky is a current student at Stanford University.
Prior to starting his education at Stanford, Mark founded the Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF) 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which became the first student-run film festival providing a platform for 12,156 artists in all 50 States and in 149 countries. Mark‘s initiative led him to independently fundraise $229,000 in grants from Google, resulting in the distribution of his self-paced filmmaking curriculum to 534,479 students in all 6 inhabitable continents. In addition, Mark became the first youth distribution partner of Amazon Prime Video, in which he successfully distributed a student film from his film festival to 100 million people. Mark has received recognition for his social impact work from the United Nations, the British Royal Family, and NJ Governor Murphy.
