Marina Sagona is an Italian and American conceptual artist and experimental filmmaker working in a variety of media whose practice is concerned with exploring family ties, and communication in interpersonal relationships.
In Rome she was assistent to postmodern artist Mario Schifano and studied Art History at the University La Sapienza. In New York she started her career drawing for The New Yorker and the New York Times.
She is represented by Chiquita Room Gallery.
