Guadalajara in 1998. Dení has a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Arts from the University of Guadalajara. She has directed two short films (Autism, Shutter Shooter) and photographed one (The Transparent Illusion). She has presented her work in local Jalisco galleries, as well as digital pieces on social media platforms and online biennials. Dení's cinema has been exhibited in Mexican festivals such as DocsMX, Festival Inter Escolar de Cine, Shorts Mexico, Festival Internacional de Cine con Medios Alternativos, Festival De Cine Miradas Alternativas Underground Paradise, Festival y Muestra Internacional de Cortometrajes Corto Creativo, Helios Sun Poetry Film Festival and Sacalacalaca. In Europe at Lift-Off Filmmaker Sessions, Duemila30, Serbest International Film Festival, Love & Hope International Film Festival, YOUKI International Youth Media Festival and in Asia at the Japan International Film Festival and the Beijing International Short Film Festival. Her art focuses on the beauty of simplicity, with a profound interest in the encounter between nature and the anthropocene, animation and live-action. She has volunteered on independent exhibition circuit project Docu Al Parque and the online collective Mutants Mixtape.
