Madhulika Krishnan is an LA-based actress and emerging producer/director from Northern California. A first-generation Indian-American, she’s passionate about telling bold, authentic stories that break convention and uplift South Asian voices. Speaking to the silent strength of immigrant families and a presence that commands both the screen and the stage, she brings authenticity, edge, and elegance to every role.
As an actor, Madhulika recently starred in Summer of Violence (2024), a politically charged coming-of-age film that premiered in AMC Theatres after winning Best Picture and Audience Favorite at the Downtown LA Film Festival, and Outstanding First Feature at the Tallgrass International Film Festival. She’s also known for the indie cult-favorite F.U. Woody Allen (2017) and has appeared in national commercials for Absolut Vodka and New York Life.
Her work is a love letter to the first-gen hustle — the cultural tightrope walk, the dual identity, the pressure to succeed, and the unspoken beauty in all of it. Whether she’s draped in a sari or strutting in stilettos, she carries the glamour of Bollywood and the grit of Hollywood, blending heritage with high fashion, and soul with stardom.
As a producer, Madhulika helped bring the genre-bending psychological horror film Don’t Trip to life, which was acquired by Buffalo 8. She co-directed and co-produced The Peel, a horror-comedy short created for social media, and is currently co-directing and starring in the comedy short I'm a Genius as well as the satirical political thriller Election Night. Her work often blends genres with sharp humor and emotional depth.
She’s not just telling stories. She’s reframing the narrative.
A graduate of USC’s BFA Acting program, she’s represented by Mavrick Artists, Eris Talent, Wilson Management, and Endorse Management Group.
