Maria Camila Ortiz, Colombian, non-binary and migrant, is a screenwriter and filmmaker with a specialization in photography and a master's degree in Contemporary Latin American Integration, with an emphasis on film festivals by/about women and curatorship. She has a degree in Film and Audiovisual (UNILA, Brazil) and Social Communication - Journalism (UNIUBE, Brazil). Her professional career includes experience in screenwriting, directing, film production, film club management, curatorship, photojournalism, content creation, media management and translation. She directed and collectively produced the short film Busco-me (2023) and produced the short film El Canto del Urutau (2023).
