Danielle Nicole Lee is a CMPA & WIFT+ member and an emerging independent producer, writer, & director under her self-founded production company, Luna Reel Productions (2018). With narrative work at the forefront, she is set to release her second creative producing venture on a feature length film, Gentle Barbarians (2024), succeeded by her first feature, The Pines Still Whisper (2023), which recently won Best Picture at Toronto Independent Film Festival (2023) & Edinburgh FFI (2024). While these films continue their festival and distribution circuits, Danielle is actively developing a slate of long-format scripted works with a focus on genre-bending & character-driven narratives to connect with youth & mature audiences globally. Luna Reel Productions is on the pathway to become a leading Canadian co-production company, while upholding ethical production practices and supporting individuality through film, television, & digital media.
