1- The festival accepts all types of film from all over the world, and of any length.
2- There is no requirement for the year of production.
3- There is no premiere requirement. You can also submit the same project in the next month competition in case you haven't been officially selected in the last editions.
4- The submitted film must be either in English or have English subtitles.
5- No work or artist will be either discriminated or favored by their country of origin, language, age, race, education, ideology, or by their economic resources. Every content, every form, every technique will be considered with no censorship of any kind.
6- LFIFF Entrants must submit only an ONLINE digital version (like Vimeo, Youtube) of their film for viewing consideration. NO DVD's, Blu-Rays or Computer Files will be accepted.
7- Student submissions must include proof of student status with the submission (i.e. copy of current and valid student I.D.) or their film will not qualify as a student film and could be disqualified.
8- One film can be entered in multiple categories. Is necessary to pay the entry fee for each category.
9- We download your movie to show in live screening; we don't share your movie. If you do not want your movie is showed you can send us an email. Only our judges will see your movie.
10- Entry fees are non-refundable.
11- All films are nominated and voted upon by a jury of film professionals, from an independent point of view.
12- We may ask you to provide marketing material (posters, trailer, stills) from your project, for the promotion of the event.
13- We do not accept "work in progress" versions. Make sure your work is finished.
14- If you submit your work to the wrong category, the festival won't be responsible and your work will be disqualified.
15- By submitting a film or script or any media through FilmFreeway, the Filmmaker agrees to grant the Festival the right to use the title, synopsis, and trailer of the Film for advertisement purposes, including using of those materials on the Festival's website.
16- By submitting you agree to our terms and conditions and give us permission to use your email address for marketing purposes. Your information will never be shared with 3rd parties.
