I search the world for sparks of light in the darkness, telling stories of hope and showcasing the strength of life. Over the course of 35 years of work, I have produced and directed 50 reportages and documentaries, with my films earning 183 awards at international festivals. I am dedicated to discovering young talent and serve as the art director for photographic exhibitions, including "Emotions to Generate Change" — the first exhibition ever held in St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City. I also curated the exhibitions for the Holy See Pavilion at EXPO Milan 2015. I founded the Religion Today Film Festival in 1997 and established the Women of Faith for Peace movement in Jerusalem.
In 2017, I was honored with the Golden Lion for Peace in Venice, a meaningful recognition, especially in these challenging times. In 2024, I received the Earth Reporter Award from Earthday and I received the prestigious award “Pilgrim for Peace” in Assisi.
