My name is Leslie Dapwatda, an immigrant from West Africa and an Army vet living with a PTSD and depression. I transition from the Army in 2016 to pursue my passion for filmmaking and storytelling. My first film "Alien Physician" is a story of a Muslim immigrant who found herself working as a doctor in a clinic but has to have to deal with prejudice from her patients. My cast and crew consist of African Americans, women and women of color, and the LGBTQ community. I know our story would touch lives and speak to the issues tearing our country apart. I hope you enjoy it as we enjoyed making it.
