Lana is an award-winning filmmaker born in Athens, Greece, where she first fell in love watching movies at the open air theaters on the Greek island where she spent her summer vacations with Yiayia. After the films Lana would go to bed and stay up till she "fixed" that night's presentation, changing decor and casting as she felt was required, a process that could last days if not months. Lana was raised in Florida, Houston and NYC where she studied Design and Architecture. In L.A. she attended UCLA for classes in Entertainment Studies where she wrote "The Sparkle," the multi, award-winning short film that she wrote, directed and produced (and even had a cameo role in.) Lana's life was forever transformed however when Jesus appeared to her in her Korea-town kitchen in her flat on Wilshire Blvd. inspiring her new autobiographical rom-com feature screenplay, "Hoe 2 Holy."
