King Lai, whose real name is Lai Ram Ceu, is an Asian-American rapper, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. He was born on July 18, 1998, in the small village of Hniarlawn in Chin State, Myanmar. In pursuit of a better life, his family moved to the U.S in 2008, where he later became a U.S Citizen.
King Lai now owns a real estate investment company which has over 50+ apartments throughout the Quad Cities. One of those being a 24-units apartment complex next to the high school he attended. Due to these real estate investments, King Lai was able to quit his regular 9-5 job and dive into the music industry in the fall of 2020. A year later, he was nominated as "New Artist of The Year" at the 2021 People's Choice Awards hosted by Chintube in Indianapolis, IN.
