Guidelines
>Students have to send college ID card copy to filmaholicfoundation@gmail.com for verification and get the student offer.
>The entry fee which will paid will be used for the social activities from our organization.
>All the details in the submission form in FilmFreeway must be entered and is mandatory.
>The film must be submitted by the film team member and not others to ease the communication process.
>Send high-resolution poster of the film to filmaholicfoundation@gmail.com

Rules:
>Person of any age can submit the movie
>The duration of films must be maximum of short film (1<30 minutes), music video (1<10 minutes), animation film (1<30 minutes), web series (1<45 minutes), telefilm (1<45 minutes), documentaries (1< 45 minutes), mockumentary (1<30 minutes) including starting and ending credits.
>Films should have no explicit violence, sexual reference or coarse/obscene language and not be against any religious faiths.
>Entries will be subject to preview by a Jury panel constituted by this Festival. Jury panel consists of experienced Directors, producers, Music composers and Actors from Film and television Industry.
>Films will normally be screened in their original language/version. In case of language other than Kannada or English the film must have subtitles in English language. In case any film is submitted without subtitles, it will be ineligible for selection.
>Submissions will not be accepted without the entry form(s).
>Due to the amount of films we receive, only the top scoring films will go through into the competition
>The organizers of the festival reserve the right to make changes in the screening schedule of films.
>Awards won by Non-Indian Filmmakers will need to pay additional charges for delivery of their award and certificate (Courier Charges as per International Rates according to their countries).
>Submissions are NON-refundable. We cannot be held liable for materials which are lost or damaged.
>KYISFF has every right to use a trailer/teaser/poster for promotional activities of all submitted short film,
>The selected films will be screened on the festival day subject to the available time duration and jury decision.
>Only the filmmakers who make it to the official selection of the festival will be notified about selection at the end of the selection process through phone call / E mail or will be announced in our website. No information will be divulged before that.
>Jury decision will be the final to shortlist the movie and will be confidential. Decision cannot be challenged.
>We accept film only in these categories, Action, Fiction, Animation, Comedy, Drama, Horror/Sci-Fi, web-series and Musical.
>Submissions received after last date of submission will not be included in the competition.
>If you are using another person’s music in your film, please make sure you have their permission and there will be no copyright issues.
>All prizes must be claimed within three months of receiving the notification via email, after which you will be deemed to have forfeited your prize. The film makers who wish to get the trophy through courier have to pay additional amount for the courier charges
>The festival will not provide feedback on films or specific reasons for rejection for any film.
>Try to upload HD form of the film so that we don't have to ask you again for the film. >Ensure you will be giving permission to download the movies.
>All films must be submitted in “Digital format” (.mpeg4, .Mov, .avi, .mpg).
>Dubbed versions of films from other languages are not eligible for submission.
In the web-series category at least 3 episodes must be completed before the submission and the best episode can be uploaded for the competition.
>The films submitted to earlier Film Festivals organized by Filmaholic Foundation will not be qualified for selection.
>KYISFF does not take any type of financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself/herself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained. However, festival organizers may guide you through it.
