Kriss is second generation, however her mother wanted her to still have her culture and get the opportunity to grow up with her grandparents, so they lived in Mexico during all of elementary school. Once in 6th grade Kriss and her mother moved to Denver, Colorado, where she lived up until she moved to Los Angeles. After her first taste of acting in a production Federico Garcia Lorca's "Blood Wedding," Kriss knew there was no turning back. Once Los Angeles, she began to actively pursue a career in film and television, while still holding a very special place in her heart for Theatre, her first love.
