I was first introduced to video editing in junior high school, when a friend and I began posting game commentary videos on a streaming platform. What started as a casual activity soon became a gateway into the world of visual expression.
After entering high school, I served as a student council officer and became involved in producing school-related videos. Through this experience, my interest in CG and animation rapidly deepened. During my studies, I spent a year working with an IT company affiliated with the school, gaining professional experience as a motion graphics designer. Through hands-on production, I came to realize that a strong foundation in graphic design is essential to deepening and refining visual expression.
As I continued to explore the essence of moving images, I became increasingly aware of the importance of graphic design in shaping visual structure. This realization led me to enroll at Hokkaido College of Art and Design, where I studied web design and coding while expanding my practice into live-action filmmaking. I became fascinated by the power of the lens to construct worlds and narratives, broadening my creative scope beyond animation to include live-action works.
Today, I work as a multimedia video designer and director who moves fluidly across disciplines and techniques, pursuing distinctive forms of visual expression from a unique perspective.
