As an actor, Sagnik has appeared in more than 15 short films. His standout performance as a transgender character in Soulmates earned the film an official selection at the Dada Saheb Phalke Awards. Other notable works include Pandora's Box, Downfall, and his latest project, Scream, for which he won the Best Supporting Actor award at four prestigious international film festivals—Asian Talent International Film Festival, East Europe International Film Festival, Caravan International Film Festival, and Nawada International Film Festival—along with multiple nominations in 2024.

In addition to acting, Sagnik is an accomplished sound designer and music composer, having collaborated with various prominent labels and music companies. He is also the founder of Tango Films, a production house specializing in short and micro-short films with a focus on impactful storytelling.
