My name is Katerina Carlson, an Emerson College student getting a degree in Media Arts Production with a minor in Comedic Arts.
I've been lucky enough to have my films play at the "All American High School Film Festival," "Film Independent's Future Filmmakers," and the "Atlanta High School Film Festival" to name a few.
At Emerson, I've worked on a number of student sets on top of being a staff member at Emerson Productions, where I produce advertising materials for the school.
I am a recent graduate from the TV/Film strand of the Dr. Phillips High School Visual Performing Arts magnet. Through this program, I have created countless short films and news packages, as well as gained over 700 hours of live production experience; recording, switching, and editing everything from musicals to football games to culinary competitions. I am skilled in cinematography, editing, directing, scriptwriting, stop-motion animation, and switching live broadcasts.
Outside of Dr. Phillips High School, I have also created video and photo content for Writer's Block Bookstore, the Orange County Public School District, Valenica College, Rebel Sky Entertainment, and Windermere Union Church.
