Born in 1975 in Varaždin, Croatia, he is employed at the University North, where he teaches physics and statistics. He graduated from the Faculty of Science in Zagreb and, after completing his studies in physics, he enrolled in a postgraduate program at the International School for Advanced Studies (S.I.S.S.A.) in Trieste, where he obtained a Master's degree in Neuroscience in 2004. He completed his Ph.D. in 2020 at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb. He founded the Trash Association and initiated the Trash Film Festival (Golden Chainsaw award) of which he was the director until 2010. He has directed around ten short and medium-length films, including "Overpunishment" (First Prize, A-fest, Tuzla 2009) and "Long Banana" (Special Prize, 44th Croatian Video Art Review, Đakovo 2012). He completed the Blank Film School and served as a jury member at the 9th Festival of Serbian Fantastic Film (FSFF) and the 48th Croatian Film Review in 2016. He is the leader of the music project Chubakina Baka, where he creates covers and adaptations of Croatian songs in English and French. This year, he completed his first feature film, "Riffs of Revolution," which took him three and a half years to make.
