Growing up in a small town in Northern Ontario gave Julie the gift of isolation and contradistinction. In her twenties, Julie drove across Canada to Vancouver with her partner Al, where she continued her writing, and gave birth to two children. As the children grew, Julie began performing in plays and acting in the Indie film industry . She began sharpening her visual perception, taking editing courses via Vivo and Raindance . Julie also worked on set in Indie films, gaining enough confidence and knowledge to leap into the role of production. Julie aspires to produce her first feature in 2020.
