Joyce Matias, or Jojoy, holds a degree in Information Systems (UMC) and a postgraduate degree in Animation (SENAC). She wrote the screenplay for a short film called "Breves Trocas," which was screened at over 20 festivals.

Since 2019, she has worked as an animator and screenwriter and has been a finalist in labs such as LAB51, Cabiria, ROTA, and PTC Lab. She participated in New Voices 2024, promoted by Projeto Paradiso and SPCine, where she wrote an action and horror feature film. She is currently studying Data Science at Univesp while finalizing a short film approved by PROAC 2023.
