José Freitas (Dec. 1997) is a filmmaker, video artist and educator based in Porto. Holds a First-Class Honours degree in Film Production from Solent University in Southampton (UK) and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Cinema and Photography at ESMAD-IPP (PT), specializing in Documentary and Experimental Cinema.
Collects experiences as an assistant director in both portuguese and international projects, as well as in film and audiovisual production and directing. In parallel, works in the performing arts as a multimedia artist and projection designer.
