Jorge Mario Zuleta, born June 15, 1973, is a costarican film director , producer and editor, known primarily for his experimental short films such as Frondio (2019), Soft Calm (2015) and Cuando Ella Vuelva (2018). Zuleta is the oldest of three children and was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. His father, Floresmiro Zuleta, is a lawyer, and his mother, Maria Isabel Arrieta, is a chemical engineer. Zuleta has three children: Rosario, Rodrigo y Jacobo. He graduated from Liceo de Curridabat in 1989 after a turmoiled youth full of bulling and expulsions from a number of schools. He was accepted into the Universidad de Costa Rica's drama school in 1991 and graduated from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 1999. He also got two degrees in design. His works has been screened as official selection in different Film Festivals. He also form part of the art-house music band GOATS published by Submarine Broadcasting Company.
